I probably could have spaced out these trips a bit more wisely but I did want my PhD time to be full of experiences - and the next 90 days is certainly packed with experience.

…I was extremely mentally stimulated by Dr Peter Pugsley, of Adelaide University, who I had invited to come and talk to the Discourse and Social Psychology group about Singaporean FHM magazine. He discussed state values, and the constructions of masculinity in the very interesting context which is Singapore.
So I’m going to a ‘velvet’ themed party tonight. Seeing as I don’t have velvet to wear… I thought I would go as Robbie Ross from The Black Velvets. Do I look like him?
